Stefanie Russo
BA, Sociology, University of Florida Class of 2013
In addition to majoring in Sociology, I have also studied History extensively at the college level.
The regions and time periods that were the focus of my curriculum range from Europe, North Africa, America, The Middle East and the Pacific Islands between the years 700 AD – 1900 AD.
I started my personal family tree project in 2001, having spent the last 10+ years of that time focused on finding documented records as evidence to confirm the oral histories of many extended branches. So far, I have gathered over 3,000 records for the 2500+ members that have been added.

It was great working with Ms. Russo on my family tree! Not only did she investigate centuries of my ancestors’ records, she found a few surprises that were absolute gems, including my 10th great-grandfather coming over on the Mayflower, 8th great-grandfather being kidnapped by Native Americans, and a family secret my grandfather kept until he died, which led to finding and meeting family members we did not know about previously. I would highly recommend working with Stellina Research Consulting!
